1.27 lakh names deleted from Goa voter list after revision

The enumeration process was conducted in November-December 2025 in Goa

After the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) carried out by the Election Commission of India, 1,27,468 names were removed from Goa's electoral roll.

With this update, the final voter count in the state stands at 10,57,566. The deleted names include deceased voters and other ineligible entries identified during the verification process. Officials said the revision was conducted to ensure an accurate and updated voter list.

In Goa, the house-to-house enumeration was conducted from 4 November 2025 to 4 December 2025.
