A 65-year-old man, Narayan Sahadev Sawal, was crushed to death by a goods truck while on his morning walk at Patradevi along NH-66. The driver fled the scene after the accident. Mopa Police later tracked down and apprehended the absconding driver in Lanja, Ratnagiri.
