Community farming in every constituency: CM

Following trials of community farming in Sankhali, Bicholim, and Mencurem Goa CM Pramod Sawant announces 90% subsidy for plots of at least 2 lakh sqm

We have started the trial of community farming in Sankhali, Bicholim, and Mencurem. We are ready to provide a 90% subsidy under community farming, but the cultivated land should be at least 2 lakh sqm. I will instruct all my ZAOs that each constituency should implement community farming on around 2 lakh sqm of land after surveying farmers’ plots, and this initiative will continue, said Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant.
