After filing his nomination for the post of Panaji mayor, Rohit Monserrate said he plans to contest the 2027 Assembly elections

After filing his nomination for the post of mayor of Panaji, Rohit Monserrate stated that his tenure as mayor would be temporary, as he plans to contest the 2027 Assembly elections.

"I will be Mayor only for a short period, as I will be contesting the 2027 Assembly elections," said Rohit.
