Town and Country Planning Minister Vishwajit Rane, addressing the Cavelossim issue, says the proposed “zone change” is actually land restoration. He claimed that low-lying areas and paddy fields were misclassified in the past and assured that a conservation-based study has been carried out. He added that the decision to revert the land to its original zone, with good news is expected soon.
