Mayuri Bhat Desai, from Merces, was recently crowned Mrs Goa 2026. While her charm and confidence won over the judges, preparing for the pageant had its fair share of challenges. So, what was the toughest part for her?
“The hardest part of this journey was being a mom first,” recalls Mrs Mayuri. “My daughter had her exams, and my younger son needed me all the time, so finding time for myself wasn’t easy. There were days when I felt stretched, trying to balance home, my fitness routine, and this dream.”
“But, with the constant support of my mom, husband, sisters, and friends, I managed to get through it. Looking back, it wasn’t just about winning — it was about proving to myself that I can do both,” adds Mrs Goa 2026 reflecting on her success.
