Traditional 'Tarangotsav' celebrated in Surla, Bicholim

Surla’s traditional 'Tarangotsav' marked the highlight of the Dussehra festivities at Shri Mallikarjun Devasthan

The traditional Tarangotsav was celebrated at Shri Mallikarjun Devasthan, Surla, Bicholim, as part of the Dussehra festivities. Devotees receive kaul as the sacred tarangs visit Shri Siddheshwar Devasthan and all 12 village wards before returning to the temple on Kojagiri Poornima.
