Workers demand Rs 30,000 minimum salary: AITUC Goa

AITUC Goa leader Christopher Fonseca maintains that the current wages are too low

AITUC Goa leader Christopher Fonseca demanded a minimum monthly salary of Rs 30,000 and daily wages of Rs 1,000 for workers. He said current wages are too low and insufficient to meet daily expenses.

He also alleged that workers are being made to work longer hours without adequate benefits.
